Bangladeshi Recipes

Hello everyone. Today in this post I am sharing my experience of visit to Bangladesh. As I am a food lover, I would love to share my food experience in Bangladesh. Well Bangladeshi recipes have a touch of Bengali food. The Bangladeshi recipes bear a strong taste of different spices and herbs. One special thing I had noticed in Bangladeshi recipes is ‘Kasundi’.  Kasundi is chili mustard relish used almost in every curry. It has very strong and pungent taste so it is used in very limited quantity to enhance the flavors otherwise it will spoil the Taste of the dish, if used not used in limited quantity. In this post I am sharing the recipes which I loved eating there.

Morog Khobani (Chicken Plums) Recipe: This recipe will remain forever in my heart. I loved this recipe of chicken and dried plums with unique sweetness.  It was served with parathas to us but it can also be consumed with rice, naan or roti.

Mutton Rezala Recipe: This is traditional Bangladeshi recipe of mutton based curry with yogurt, milk and rose water. It holds a royal elegance in its taste. It was served to us with plain rice but it can be eaten with pulao, roti or naan. It is considered as a great dish for wedding and other occasions in Bangladesh.

Mishti Jorda (Sweet Rice) Recipe: This is a sweet recipe made of rice. Mishti Jorda is very easy to make even I had learnt this recipe there. It was filled with different nuts and edible color is used to give golden yellow color to the rice. It is importantly served in every occasion in Bangladesh
